Since 1856, the Fer à Cheval soap factory has continued the production of Marseille soap in cauldrons under the expert gaze of its master soap maker. Savon de Marseille is a traditional olive oil soap made in Marseille in the South of France, at one of the original of only 4 remaining factories.

This 100% authentic Olive Marseille soap is often imitated, but never equalled.  Presented in an authentic and refined package, the Fer a Cheval Marseille soap is a natural, effective and healthy alternative for skin care and housekeeping.

The Ancestral cauldrons saponification process.Nearly 10 days are necessary for the elaboration of Fer a Cheval’s cauldron-cooked soap according to the Marseille process. This ancestral know-how transmitted by Master soap makers through generations is still used to this day.

A natural, hypoallergenic soap.This soap is exclusively plant-based. It does not contain any preservatives, dyes, additives or animal fat or palm oil.
